The Starfish

Once upon a time there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.

 Walking along the shore, as he looked down the beach, he saw a human figure moving like dancer.He smiled to himself to think of someone who would dance to the day. So he began to walk faster to catch up. As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man and the young man wasn't dancing, but instead he was reaching down to the shore, picking up something and very gently throwing it into the ocean.

As he got closer he called out, "Good morning! What are you doing?'

The young man paused, looked up and replied, " Throwing starfish in the ocean"

" I guess I should have asked, " why are you throwing starfish in the ocean?"

"The sun is up, and the tide is going out, and if I don't throw them in they'll die.

"But, young man, don't you realize that their are miles and ,miles of beach, and starfish all along it.  you can't possibly make a difference!"

The young man listened politely. Then bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves and said, " It made a difference for that o e.  :-)

A pencilmaker told the pencils 5 important lessons:

1st, everything you do will always leave a mark.
2nd, you can always correct the mistakes you make by its eraser at the top.
3rd, what is important is what's inside you.
4th, in life, you will undergo painful sharpenings which will make you a better pencil.

And finally, the most important is...to be the best pencil you can be. You must allow yourself to be held and guided by the hand that holds you.

Thoughts about Loneliness

     These times, where there's a plenty of ways to communicate, there has never been a time when the means of communicating were so numerous and easy to come by.  Yet in this mass connection world, still many feel very lonely.  BUT WHY?  From my observation,  nothing really beats a genuine smile and warm affection that can be seen in a person's eyes.

     In the fast paced life,  rarely can we see homes with family members share meals, share conversations.  Many of us, I know, would opt to use cellular phones to connect with family members especially when we're far apart.

MY NEW YEAR's WISH

          How I really wish  I could have this phone this year.  Long I have waited for a phone that's quite lighter than my other phones, a phone with super fast wireless connecting to more networks all around the world.  Apple's iPhone5 is what I'm longing for this year.  Because it is the only gadget I know that could help me in my present job as well as other activities daily with its cool features.  

Hopefully,  I can get it on my birth month--August or on the christmas season.  =)  i'd really be happy and grateful...so much grateful!

Anytime you need a friend....

A friend is someone who's ever so caring and loving.
Is someone who enjoys your company anytime of a day and year.
A friend is someone who stays true whatever you've gone through.

RADIO

I really can't live without radio.  A day without radio music is pretty lame.  Radio, the term that became common in the year 1920s, is based on the verb to radiate by which in Latin "radius" means " spoke of a wheel, beam of light, ray."

One of the country's best radio online or not is Y101 broadcasting from cebu.  Y101, DYIO always first.  Working or just hanging out, I listen to its upbeat music.  Disc jockeys are cool and entertaining.

Informations such as concerts, community events, organization activities, entertainment shows even current news are well transmitted for everyone to know.  It is very satisfying to listen anytime of a day, everyday or sometimes.

CHRISTMAS

First month of the fourth quarter, here I am with my thoughts this coming Christmas. Christmas celebrations as to say. Actually I don't have an exact idea of how to celebrate it but with these songs helps me have a good one.
